There will be some disruption to public transport services in central Wellington during the Procession. All efforts will be made to adhere to the timetable but it is likely there will be some delays. While services will be affected the public will still be able to travel as far as Courtenay Place and the Railway Station on shuttle buses which will travel via the waterfront. During the Procession buses will not be able to travel through the CBD. Subsequently buses will travel via the waterfront where temporary bus stops will be in place. In some cases, particularly with trolley buses, passengers will need to transfer on to shuttle buses, which will travel, between Courtenay Place and the Lambton Bus Interchange. On-site staff will manage the transfer of passengers. Other services that travel across town such as Karori to Lyall Bay, Strathmore to Khandallah will not require passengers to transfer.
